U.S. Congressman Raúl M. Grijalva

Representative Raúl M. Grijalva is a fifth term Member of Congress representing Arizona’s 7th Congressional District. He began his public career as a community organizer when he joined with other advocates at El Rio Community Health Center to encourage local governments to invest in older and minority neighborhoods. He served on the Tucson Unified School District Governing Board from 1974 to 1986, as chairman during his last three years on the board. Representative Grijalva was the first Latino elected to TUSD in more than 100 years.
