Nestlé Call-in Day 2007
It's Time to Stand up to Nestlé

Nestle Call-in Day 2007Thursday, April 19th, is Nestlé's annual shareholders' meeting and your chance to join with other activists and local communities around the country in standing up to Nestlé!

While executives tout profits, challenge them to listen to the communities that say “no” to bottling plants – it is time this corporation stops threatening local control of water. Your action will help stop Nestlé from exerting its tremendous political and economic influence to bully community groups that try to maintain control over their water resources.

Make your voice heard with a quick phone call to Nestlé. Below is the phone number to call and a script to help make your call faster and easier!

Call Nestlé Waters North America CEO Kim E. Jeffery:

Call NESTLÉ WATERS NORTH AMERICA at 1-800-937-7708 from 9:00 AM-7:00 PM EST.

Hi, my name is ________. I'd like to speak to CEO Kim E. Jeffery, please.

You will likely be asked what the question is, or to leave a message:

The basic human right to water is at risk and people’s lives are at stake. Over one billion people don’t have access to safe water to drink. Now, Nestlé is threatening local control of water when citing and operating its bottled water plants.

HOW DOES NESTLÉ RESPOND TO COMMUNITIES WHO SAY "NO" TO OPERATIONS IN THEIR AREA?

As part of a growing movement across the U.S. and around the world that is challenging the corporate control of our water, I am calling on Nestlé to stop interfering in local, democratic control of water.

Thank you.
