Think Outside the Bottle
Challenge Corporate Control of Our Water

Do you remember when you got your water from water fountains? When did that stop--and more importantly--why did it? Well, corporations like Coke, Nestlé and Pepsi have spent tens of millions of dollars convincing us that bottled water is cleaner, healthier and better for us than tap water. But, it's just not true. In fact, bottled water is less regulated than tap water. That is why we need you to Think Outside the Bottle and tell the CEOs of Coke (Dasani), Pepsi (Aquafina) and Nestlé (Poland Spring, Deer Park and more) to stop misleading promotion of bottled water and stop interfering in policies that protect our water.

During the month of March, corporate interests gathered at the 4th World Water Forum in Mexico City to promote international policies that threaten the human right to water. If we don't stop these corporations from undermining support for our public water supplies, we could face a future where private corporations are making decisions about something as essential to life as our water.

We are calling on Coke, Nestlé and Pepsi to:

  • Stop misleading promotion of bottled water, and
  • Stop interfering in policies that protect our water

You can join us by taking action online right now. Click here to send a message to the CEOs of Coke, Pepsi and Nestlé. Tell them that our water is not for sale!
