For more than 30 years, Corporate Accountability and its members have challenged corporate abuses that endanger public health, democratic institutions, the environment and people’s lives. Our campaigns have called some of the world’s largest transnationals to account, forcing each to respond to the public interest.

We are facing a global water crisis where more than two-thirds of the world’s population will soon lack access to enough clean, drinking water. At the same time, corporations like Coke, Nestlé and Suez are turning water from a public resource into a profit-driven commodity. Giant tobacco corporations like Philip Morris/Altria, British American Tobacco, and Japan Tobacco International are aggressively attempting to undermine the global tobacco treaty adopted by the World Health Assembly in 2003. We work with allies in the US and globally to ensure the treaty is enforced, and urge countries to ratify so more lives will be saved. Read more.
