Betsy Rix

Rix joined Corporate Accountability International in part because of her dedicated interest in sustainable food systems.  She is a former teacher. She has extensive board experience having served as Board Chair of International Development Exchange (IDEX), which promotes sustainable solutions to poverty through international grantmaking, and Pie Ranch, an educational and food system advocacy farm in California where she serves as chair of their capital campaign.  She is a member of the Women Donors Network, a community of women committed to building the progressive movement.  Rix brings a wealth of experience in capacity building and strategic planning to the board. She graduated from the University of Vermont. Rix has been a member since 2006.
